This was a very enjoyable trip. The Christmas Markets were delightful and the other sites we visited were very worthwhile. The hotels we stayed in were very comfortable and the inn in Rothenburg was quite charming. The food was also quite tasty. Our guide was friendly, welcoming, well organized and flexible. Overall, our local guides were also quite strong as they were energetic, informative and had good senses of humor. I’d definitely recommend the trip to others.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this tour. You don’t have to be a Christmas enthusiast to have a great time at the Christmas markets in Germany. Since this was my 11th tour with S&S, I was not surprised that it included wonderful hotels and restaurants, entertaining tour guides, comfortable transportation, and a superb tour director. The itinerary led us to the prettiest places in Bavaria by bringing us to the four most worthwhile cities to visit. Two of them, known to be the best of 10 Christmas markets in Europe, were the feast for the eyes and mouth. The cheerful atmosphere was undeniable. The many hours of free time during this tour were greatly appreciated. I loved the pastel colored houses in the walled, medieval towns. My wish to see the famous Neuschwanstein castle came true, to see both the exterior and interior exceeded my expectations. Other historical building where we could see very impressive interiors was the Munich’s Royal Palace. This S&S tour provides a very memorable experience.

The Christmas Markets tour with Sights and Soul Travels was the first time I’ve taken a tour so I didn’t know what to expect. But the tour exceeded my expectations. The Christmas markets that we visited on this trip were vibrant and fun. Our tour guide Marta was very attentive to the needs of our group. I thought the tour had a good mix of free time and group time. The restaurants were good and the choice of hotels was good. I really liked the Le Meridien Hotel because of its location near the train station and the old town, the breakfast buffet was excellent. The tour was well organized and a good value for the price.
