Singapore, a sunny, tropical island off the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula, is a wealthy, clean, and serene city-state of five million people. Ideally positioned in south-east Asia, Singapore is a thriving metropolis offering a world-class infrastructure, a fully integrated island-wide transport network, dynamic business environment, vibrant living spaces, and a rich culture largely influenced by its four major communities: Chinese, Malay, Indian and Eurasian, each offering different perspective of life in Singapore in terms of culture, religion, food, language, and history. Often referred to as The Lion City, the pint-sized Singapore is a mosaic of contrasting cultures. While it's easy to be dazzled by Orchard Road's wall-to-wall malls and the futuristic hotels, the city's Chinatown with its immense Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and the Little India's Hindu shrines draped with marigold garlands create altogether different worlds. The city's mix of traditional, colonial and futuristic is best represented at the mouth of the Singapore River, where the spiky domed Esplanade Theatre is next to the neo-Palladian Asian Civilizations Museum, home to Islamic calligraphy and Vietnamese sculptures, while the Marina Bay Sands Hotel and Gardens by the Bay wow both visitors and locals. Visiting Singapore is an immersive journey into a dynamic fusion of cultures, where gleaming skyscrapers coexist with lush greenery and vibrant neighborhoods, and it is this blend of modernity, heritage, and natural beauty, that makes visiting Singapore a truly unforgettable experience.

During the full 5 days that we'll spend in the city, we'll get to visit all the highlights of Singapore, as well as exerience some of the off-the-beaten-path gems. We'll have lunch and welcome cocktails at the iconic Marina Bay Sands, we'll track the nocturnal animals at the Nightime Safari at the Singapore Zoo, visit the spellbinding ethnic neighborhoods, take a bumboat ride on the Singapore River to appreciate the city from a different viewpoint, visit the mesmerizing Gardens by the Bay. We'll enjoy the Hawkers' lunch for Singapore's best street food, a Singapore sling at Raffles Hotel and an authentic 7-course Peranakan dinner accompanied by a Chinese Opera performance. To top it all off, we'll sail aboard the Royal Albatross tall ship for our sunset dinner cruise. All that, plus the company of fantastic. like-minded, globe-trotting women, bringing it all together for a great experience marked with laughter, learning an new friendships.
